Description

Determining what is required to be accessible when a facility is altered or expanded can be a challenge.This session will review and provide a refresher on how the ADA and ABA Accessibility Standards apply to planned alterations and additions.It will cover what type of work constitutes an “alteration,“ how the scope of work determines application, provisions for primary function areas and accessible paths of travel, historic facilities, technical infeasibility and other topics.
