Description
While the ADA requires that reasonable accommodations be made to allow service animals to accompany persons with disabilities in places of public accommodation, states may also have laws regarding service animals in those settings. Attorneys Denette Vaughn of Disability Rights Texas and Elaine Roberts, member of the State Bar Disabilities Issues Committee and Executive Director of the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County, Inc. will discuss the passing of Bootz's Law in the state of Texas and how this law affects Title III entities who deny or prohibit a person from using their service animal in these settings.
