Robin is a Seattle area expert in developmental disability services and systems. With over 15 years in the DD field, she has aided in development and growth of critical services including Homelessness Prevention, Healthy Relationships and Sex Education, Parent Supports, and Multicultural Outreach.
Robin’s experience in direct support has allowed her to appreciate the resilience of individuals with DD and their families, and to identify gaps and barriers within disability “systems”. Driven by values of inclusion, including that disability is a form of diversity, she works to identify and address issues of social justice from the disability lens, and to promote and protect the human and civil rights of people with DD and their families. Robin holds a Master of Social Work and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington.
